So we are no longer producing G-Tube Pads.
I recently discovered that they are several other places to purchase them on Etsy.
My friend whose son uses them recommended Making Lemonaid for G-Tube Pads!

Also, I am no longer offering the bulk packages for the feminine pads and nursing pads.
I am considering no longer selling these, but will make that decision at a later date.

Also, we have permanently reduced the price of the multi-size pocket diaper for babies and infants.

Lastly, I am no longer going to be running sales every month, or having contests.
These are time consuming for me and just not really needed.

Due to time constraints, I have even considered stepping out of the business.
We are not able to take much out of the business as we are still in the rebuilding stage
after nearly going out of business 2 years ago, but I need to spend my valuable time
managing it.  But, we will remain in business as it is the best solution for our daughters who live at home
so they can work from home and earn money on a regular basis.  It also meets the needs of several
other families and out clients.

Please continue to support us, and hopefully we will continue to meet the needs of those who rely
on Snap-EZ for many years to come.

We are adopting!

We have been considering adoption for a while now, and the plight of orphans in Eastern Block countries just tears my heart.

We found a little girl with Down Syndrome that we want to adopt.  Her name is Priscilla (at least that’s the name we can use for her, as we can’t use her real name to protect her identity).  She is 2 1/2 years old and was born with a heart defect that has been repaired.
She struggles with respiratory illness (she’s had pneumonia 4 times already!) and is behind in development, even for a child with Downs.  Her breathing sounds very “junky,” just like Esther’s did before we started thickening her liquids to reduce/eliminate aspiration.  She is just now learning to sit by herself.  She also has extreme laxity of joints and excessive flexibility.

We are excited to use what we have found to be helpful for Esther to bless her too.  I am hoping that with thickened liquids, proper diet, using essential oils and breathing treatments. having her wear a “hip hugger” like Esther did, doing regular therapy to strengthen and direct her muscles, and having so many loving siblings to interact with her all day long, she will improve rapidly in our home!

International adoption is so very expensive!  We have enough funds to get the ball rolling.  We have begun our home study and hope to have that complete in the next 6 weeks or so.  We have also sent in our commitment papers to the country where Priscilla lives.  Once we complete our home study we will be compiling our dossier (big stack of papers) that will be sent to her country to officially apply for her adoption.  These papers will need to be accompanied by roughly $6000.  This we do not have at this time.  There are some adoption grants that we can apply for once our home study is completed, but most of them do not make the funds available until after our dossier has been approved.

So we need your help.  We are doing several fundraising things, and more are planned.  Here’s how you can help:

2 – Like and Share our Facebook Adoption Auction page – Auctions For a Seventh Sister And while your there, check out our auctions – you might find something there you would like to bid on!  You can also donate items for our auction as well – instructions are on that page!

5 – and most importantly, pray for us.  Pray that we will see God’s hand miraculously provide all we need to bring Priscilla home to us.  Pray that she will remain healthy  and that she will grow and learn even while still in an orphanage.
